This is our registration number as a charitable organisation in New Zealand and it means the world to us.

We started our journey in June 2023 when we reached out to Te Ara Ture, an amazing service that connects organisations like ours with lawyers. They paired us with Russell McVeagh, who helped us to navigate the legislative waters. In November 2023, we were granted charitable status.

This is a big deal because it raises our profile, instils trust, and allows us to apply for tax exemptions and funding previously out of reach.

Special thanks to Te Ara Ture and Russell McVeagh who were a class act throughout.
